The Marga Institute launched Godfrey Gunatilleke’s collection of writings titled ‘Towards a Sri Lankan model of Development” on the 24th of May at B.M.I.C.H. Orchid Room. Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy, Governor Central Bank was the main speaker. Dr. Saman Kelegama, Executive Director of Institute of Policy Studies and Dr. Nimal Sanderatne, Chairman Gamani Corea Foundation, also spoke at the Seminar/ Launch. Dr. Lloyd Fernando, Member of the Board of Governors, Marga Institute was the Chairman / Moderator of the Panel. The book is available for sale at the Marga Institute. Price – Rs. 1200/=
The Marga Institute signed an agreement of collaboration with Open University of Sri Lanka to conduct Masters programme in Development Studies and Public Policy.
Marga Institute conducted a public opinion survey on higher education during September 2016 among those who visited the International Book Fair at the BMICH.
Marga Institute conducted a public opinion survey on bribery and corruption in Sri Lanka during January / February period in 2016.
The Field work was carried out by Survey Research Lanka. The survey was self funded and done in collaboration with March 12th Movement.
