MARGA RESEARCH

At the Marga Institute, we approach development challenges through a multidisciplinary framework, examining issues from economic, social, political, environmental, and value-based perspectives. Over the past 50+ years, we have conducted in-depth research across a wide range of sectors. Our work has encompassed critical areas such as agriculture, children, education, ethnic studies, development, health, housing, poverty alleviation, youth, women, justice, human rights, language rights, and fostering social cohesion. Our surveys have also led to community engagement. We aim to contribute to sustainable and equitable development in Sri Lanka and beyond through this diverse focus.
