The Marga Institute hosted the resource collection of Media Reform Lanka. The Media Reform Lanka initiative aimed to broaden and inform the perspectives in which media law, media policy, and regulation were debated and determined in Sri Lanka and provided a resource for those working in this vital field. It sought to identify and clarify the principles and context of media policy and regulation and widen the constituency that understood the changing international and technological media context.
The Marga Institute was grateful for the opportunity to host the resource collection of Media Reform Lanka and trusted that this initiative would be mutually beneficial and add value to the civil society actors and advocacy initiatives of both institutions.
